Renewed Hope Project benefit on Sunday

BEVERLY — A fundraiser to benefit the Renewed Hope Project will take place Sunday from 5 to 10 p.m. at the Danversport Yacht Club in Danvers.

The Renewed Hope Project is a new nonprofit organization with the goal of opening a sober house for recovering addicts in Beverly. It is run by Michael Wilson, a 31-year-old Beverly resident and former addict.

Tickets for Sunday's "Pride in Recovery" event are $100. They are available at Dairy Queen at 479 Cabot St. in Beverly, or by calling 978-434-1356 or visiting www.renewedhopeproject.org. The evening will include dinner, live entertainment, an auction and raffle.

Scheduled performers are Christ Community Music artist Katie Giguere of Nashville and contemporary folk singer Don White of Lynn. Don Kelley will be the auctioneer.
