A resident approached police at 11:57 a.m. saying he had found several Medicare cards on Mansell's Parkway. The cards contained names and Social Security numbers. Several children came up to police and said they had found similar cards scattered all around the area, and a small child said neighborhood children had found them in a large metal trash container and had been playing with them for a couple of days. Police, along with the children, managed to pick up 200 cards. Police took the cards to the Social Security office at 10 Federal St. Police are concerned about the possibility they could be used for identity theft. Social Security staff told police the cards were fake, but the information they contained was real. The office alerted federal authorities and seized the cards.
An employee at Capt.'s Waterfront Grill called police at 4:18 p.m. after a birthday party involving 25 people left without paying their bill. The woman who organized the party called the restaurant in March to make a reservation and paid a $200 deposit. The group left without paying the remaining tab: $357.62. Police took a report and called the party organizer, who refused to pay the remaining tab. The woman told police she didn't pay the remaining tab because she said her group was told to leave at 8 p.m., and she said she was told they could stay until closing time. The woman said the restaurant would have to take her to court to get the remaining money.
An employee at The Lobster Shanty reported to police at 7 p.m. that two homeless men were taking their empty beer bottles. Police caught up with the men near a liquor store, and the pair agreed to give back the bottles. They apologized and said they had previous permission to take the bottles.
Police responded to Leavitt Street at 9:14 p.m. for a roommate dispute. A man who was watching the Red Sox-Yankees game said his female roommate turned off the TV, saying it was her turn to watch a movie. He then said his roommate hit him. The woman told police she turned off the TV because he was watching it all day, and she wanted to watch a movie. She said he then slapped himself and called the police. Police reported seeing no signs of physical injury. They told the male roommate to finish watching the game in his room.

Justin C. Goodwin, 35, of 94 Boston St., Salem, was arrested at 12:50 a.m. and charged with driving with a revoked license (fifth offense) following a motor vehicle stop on Butler Street.

Monday
Steven Arroyo, 22, of 37 Lexington Ave., Gloucester, and Steven McCarran, 20, of 21 Roderick Ave., Beverly, were arrested at 6:24 p.m. and charged with possession of marijuana following a report of a suspicious motor vehicle.
Patrolman Stephen Zampitella reported a minor motor vehicle accident at 8:37 p.m. A Swampscott resident accidentally backed a Hyundai Sonata into the officer's cruiser at 136 Main St.
Tuesday
Police responded to a report that someone had fallen from a roof on Newcastle Road at 2:34 p.m. The man was taken to Salem Hospital.
After a report of a three-car accident near the Outback Steakhouse, 300 Andover St., at 4:44 p.m., Deborah Hawley, 37, of Middleton was taken to Beverly Hospital by Atlantic Ambulance. Police plan to summons her for driving with a revoked license.
Police investigated a small electrical fire at 10 Dearborn Road at 5:09 p.m.
At 5:59 p.m., police said a boy told police he had a problem with another boy. One boy was apparently riding a tricycle when another boy hit his trike from behind with a mountain bike. As a result, the tricyclist hit another boy in the back. One boy was taken to Salem North Shore Children's Hospital via Atlantic Ambulance. Parents of the injured boy planned to got to Salem juvenile court to seek a complaint.
A Sabino Farm Road resident reported to police at 6 p.m. that her daughter was jumped at the skate park.
The owner of Seacoast Truck Tires Inc. on Pulaski Street reported to police at 6:20 p.m. that he was almost struck by a car driven by a man in his 20s who was stealing items from his business.
Angela Arias, 25, of 130 Neptune Blvd., Apt. 903E, Lynn, was arrested at 10:08 p.m. and charged with driving without insurance and driving with a revoked license following a motor vehicle stop on Central Street.
A woman reported to police at 10:37 p.m. that her futon was stolen from her front lawn on Shore Drive.
Patrick McMahon, 24, of 91รขÑ2 Northend St., Apt. 3, Peabody, was arrested at 11:42 p.m. and charged with drunken driving and driving with a suspended license following a motor vehicle crash on Route 114. Police received a report of a pickup truck into a pole and the driver was fleeing on foot.

A woman who fell and suffered a head injury at Borders Books on Route 114 at 10:24 a.m. was taken to Salem Hospital.
A West Peabody man reported to police at 12:48 p.m. that his 2006 Suzuki C50 motorcycle was stolen. The man's nephew took it without permission.
Michael Castaldo, 17, of 143R Washington St., Peabody, was arrested at 4:52 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct following a report of a fight at Buddha's Tavern.

Miranda Nugent, 17, of 48A New Way Lane, Gloucester, was arrested at Kohl's at 7:28 p.m. and charged with shoplifting.
Jason Dexter, 40, of 46 Abington Road, Danvers, was arrested at Staples, 301 Newbury St., at 9:41 p.m. and charged with domestic assault and battery, intimidation of a witness, and malicious destruction of property.
Wednesday
Stephen Lyons, 48, of 805 Haverhill St., Rowley, was arrested at 7:48 a.m. and charged with driving with a suspended license, driving without insurance and driving with a suspended registration following a motor vehicle stop on Maple Street.
Police took a report at 4:43 p.m. of shoplifting at CVS on Route 1.

Zachary Crossman, 18, of 17 Wethersfield St., Rowley, and a juvenile were arrested at 7:29 p.m. and charged with marijuana possession following a motor vehicle stop on Route 1.
