Sunday

Laura S. Vitali, 23, of 8 Patricia Road, Peabody, was arrested at 7:40 p.m. and charged with three counts of larceny by false pretenses at Home Depot. The incident was investigated by Home Depot loss prevention. The store alleged Vitali printed duplicate receipts while ringing up customers' purchases. She then had a friend come in and make a phony merchandise return, and the two would then split the money, a total of $620.47, according to the report.

Monday

Police responded to the 7-Eleven on North Street at 1:40 a.m. after they received a holdup alarm. The clerk told police he was robbed of the cash drawer by a man wielding a knife. The clerk said the man first asked a question, then forced the clerk to open the cash register drawer. The man took the drawer and then fled on foot in an unknown direction.

A woman driving south on Bridge Street at 6 a.m. encountered a sea gull in the road that refused to move. Police said the woman swerved to avoid the bird and briefly lost control and struck a curb at the intersection of Bridge Street and Pearl Street. The car jumped the curb and went over the landscape timbers belonging to Coffee Time Bake Shop and a mailbox. There was no apparent damage to the timbers, curb or mailbox. The sea gull was not injured, but the woman's car did have to be towed.

Michael F. Casey, 38, of 17 Bryant St., Salem, was arrested at 11:43 a.m. and charged with driving with a suspended license and a stop sign violation following a following a motor vehicle stop on Dow Street.

Monday

Police receive a report at 4:52 p.m. of kids possibly throwing apples at passing cars on Bridge Street. Police responded to the area but could not locate the kids or how they liked them apples.

Jeffrey P. Lockwood, 38, of 1 Carol Way, Salem, was arrested at 6:30 p.m. and charged with domestic assault at his residence.

Philip G. Andrews, 70, of 13B Sabino Farm Road, Peabody, was arrested at 6:35 p.m. and charged with drunken driving after police received a report of a man falling at the Hess gas station on North Street. Witnesses told police the man was pumping gas into his car when he fell.

Tuesday

Sean M. Hussey, 26, of 68 Leavitt St., Salem, was arrested at 1:16 a.m. and charged with disturbing the peace following a report of a disturbance.

Peter D. Montminy, 44, of 6 Madeline Ave., Salem, was arrested at 8:44 a.m. and charged with violating a restraining order at his residence.

Benjamin R. Jones, 34, of 118 Prospect St., Gloucester, was arrested at 7:30 p.m. and charged with drunken driving (second offense), a marked lane violation, speeding and an open container violation following a motor vehicle stop on High Street.

Saturday

Jeffery Burns, 55, of 439 North St., Georgetown, was arrested at 8 p.m. and charged with marijuana possession on County Road.

Sunday

Eric Saquet, 41, of 53 Topsfield Road, Ipswich, was arrested at 7:55 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct on Topsfield Road.

Danvers

Monday

Dayna Howarth, 43, of 35D Essex Green Lane, Peabody, was arrested at 8 p.m. and charged with drunken driving, a marked lane violation and a stop sign violation following a motor vehicle stop on Elliott Street.

Nelson DaSilva, 17, of 21 Tracey St., Peabody, was arrested at 9:20 p.m. and charged with driving with a revoked license and failure to signal following a motor vehicle stop on Independence Way.

Tuesday

Eric Souvannakane, 25, of 12 Eutaw Ave., Lynn, was arrested at 9:24 a.m. and charged with shoplifting at Wal-Mart.

Paul A. Lemaitre, 47, of 5 Hilltop Circle, West Newbury, was arrested at 11:12 p.m. and charged with drunken driving, negligent driving and resisting arrest following a motor vehicle stop on Endicott Road.

Beverly

Monday

Linda M. Thompson, 46, of 15 Story St., Salem, was arrested at 9 p.m. and charged with driving with a suspended license, driving with revoked registration and driving without insurance following a following a report of people in a car yelling obscenities at a couple on Amherst Road.

Joseph P. Carney, 25, of 10 Amherst Road, Beverly, was arrested at 10:45 p.m. and charged with failure to stop for police, negligent driving and speeding following a motor vehicle stop on Amherst Road.
