Sunday

A woman at Endicott College reported to police at 2 a.m. that she was the victim of an indecent assault and battery at the college campus. The suspect was described as a white male, late teens/early 20s, approximately 6 feet tall, and weighing between 170 and 190 pounds. Police said the man wore sneakers, a button-down shirt, and a baseball hat backwards. The assault is being aggressively investigated by detectives in conjunction with the Endicott College administration and campus security. Anyone with information about this incident or anyone who may have witnessed this incident is asked to call Detective Jeffrey Liacos or leave an anonymous tip at 978-921-6047.

Monday

Robert M. Owen, 54, of 18 State St., Apt. 3, Marblehead, was arrested at midnight and charged with assault and battery.

Police investigated vandalism to the gazebo at the Beverly Commons at 3:19 p.m. Police located the culprits, who said they would wash the water-based pastels off the gazebo.

Two juveniles and four adults were arrested following a complaint of people smoking marijuana. John J. Russo, 17, of 58 Cabot St., Apt. 3, Beverly; Samantha J. Rojas, 17, of 26 Beckford St., second floor, Beverly; Troy Platt Jr., 23, of 39 Chestnut St., third floor, Lynn; Christopher McFadden Jr., 18, of 273 Rantoul St., Apt. 4, Beverly, and a 16-year-old Beverly boy and a 14-year-old Beverly girl were all charged with trespassing. Detective Tom Nolan and Sgt. Michael Cassola responded to a vacant apartment at 58 Cabot St., following the reports to police. Police Lt. Tim Hagerty said a teenage man opened the door and could detect a strong odor of marijuana. Police contacted the building's owner who said the kids did not have permission to be there. Assisting detectives were Patrolmen Harold Geary, Mark Panjwani and Antonio Diruzza.

A 14-year-old Beverly man was arrested at 8 p.m. and charged with larceny from a person more than $250 and threats to kill at police received a report that someone had his cell phone stolen on Park Street. Patrolmen Harold Geary and Edward Goodell made the arrest.

Salem

Sunday

A mother shopping at Target with her son reported to police at 4:43 p.m. that a man exposed himself to her son while in the bathroom.

Kassandra Moustakis, 17, of 14 Columbia Road, Danvers, was arrested at 4:43 p.m. and charged with negligent driving, assault and battery and two counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (a motor vehicle and a shod foot) at Park Street.

Police received a report at 5:22 p.m. that kids were hitchhiking on Bridge Street. Police checked the area but did not see any kids hitchhiking.

Conrad McAnany, 25, of 267 Lafayette St., Salem; Tyler D. Griffin, 25, of 219 Lafayette St., Salem; and Nathaniel Shatswell, 28, of 4 Lemon St., Salem were arrested at 5:28 p.m. and charged with marijuana possession following a motor vehicle stop on Harrison Road by Salem State College police.

Police investigated a break-in at 4 Loring Ave., at 6 p.m. after a resident told police she came home to find her door unlocked and a laptop computer and flat-screen television gone. Police noted pry marks on the door.

Police received a report of 100 kids rioting on Gallows Hill Road at 7:12 p.m. but the riot turned out to be high school kids having a water balloon and toilet paper fight. The area was later cleaned up.

Capt. Brian Gilligan, who was riding in his unmarked cruiser, pulled over a speeding car in front of the Salem Mission. The driver's, Michael Lemoine, license was suspended for failure to pay child support. Gilligan gave Lemoine a citation for failure to stop at a stop sign and driving with a suspended license.

Monday

Police received a report at 8:40 a.m. of a car break-in on Lincoln Road.

Christopher Malloy, 19, of 31 Winthrop St., Salem, was arrested at 3:50 p.m. and charged with marijuana possession and failure to stop at a stop sign following a motor vehicle stop on Endicott Street.

An employee at Lafayette Market called police at 7 p.m. after a homeless woman kept standing outside the business front door asking customers for money. Police spoke with the woman and said she wasn't asking for money, but cigarettes instead. Police asked the woman to move along and not return.

Peabody

Monday

Paul J. St. Pierre, 31, of 380 Lynnfield St., Peabody, was arrested at 1:27 p.m. and charged with domestic assault and battery, witness intimidation, and two counts of malicious destruction of property (less than $250) following a report of a disturbance at the Carriage House Motel.

Police received a report at 3:10 p.m. that a 2004 Ford F-150 was broken into and the LED lights were removed from inside the light bar on top of the cab.

Police received a report at 6 p.m. from Bishop Fenwick High School that lockers were broken into.
