High school to Showcase renovations at annual event

SALEM — The high school will be bustling tomorrow evening for the annual Showcase from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

Faculty and students will host demonstrations and displays for members of the community, and prospective students and their parents will get a chance to check out the building, the athletic facilities, the academics, and the art and music programs, according to Principal David Angeramo.

The Showcase will take place throughout the main foyer, hallway and library.

"We can show off the new renovations," Angeramo said, "and more importantly, what's going on inside the school. It's a chance to talk about the offerings in all of the departments."

New at this year's Showcase, there will also be a gathering point for Salem High alumni as part of a new initiative to form a Salem Public Schools Alumni Association.
