Paul Ivnitskiy, 17, of 89 East St., Middleton, was arrested at 11:59 p.m. and charged with possession of a Class D substance, possession of liquor under 21, failure to dim high beams and operating outside of license restrictions after a traffic stop on Cherry Street. A 16-year-old male passenger was also arrested and charged with possession of a Class D substance and possession of liquor under 21 after the traffic stop.

Carol Doucette, 43, of 60 Main St., Andover, was arrested at 8:13 p.m. and charged with drunken driving following a Route 133 motor vehicle accident that caused no injuries.

A male juvenile was arrested at 9:41 p.m. and charged with domestic assault and battery, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, and disturbing the peace after an incident at his home.

A Beaver Street woman reported her apartment had been broken into a day earlier, Wednesday. The burglar forced the first-floor lock to steal two laptop computers, a game machine and $80.

A Peabody Street man found someone smashed one of his Pontiac's side windows before 12:23 p.m.
Duwayne Stephen Erickson, 22, of 56 River St., Beverly, was arrested at 1:54 p.m. and charged with a city knife violation and assault with a dangerous weapon. Police met up with an MBTA bus on Boston Street, where a witness told police that Erickson put on a mask on the bus, opened a pocket knife, raised it to the mask and started cutting out the mouth area of the mask. The witness said "the two made eye contact and that Erickson lowered the still-opened knife." Police frisked Erickson and found him with a folding double-edged knife.
A Salem Youth Soccer official reported at 2 p.m. that someone had tried to break into the concession stand at McGrath Park. The man thought some new soccer balls and trophies could have been stolen from the building.
While a woman was reporting that she'd found a wallet at 2:16 p.m., a man was reporting the wallet was missing. The two were reunited at the police station.

Chad White, 28, of 9776 Langan St., Spring Hill, Fla., was arrested at 3:09 a.m. and charged with drunken driving (second offense) and a motor vehicle lights violation after a traffic stop on Maple Street.
Police talked to someone on Newbury Street about illegal dumping at 9:47 a.m.
A resident reported a Holten Street home had been broken into at 3:26 p.m.

Incidents included hit-and-run car accidents at 6:31 a.m. at Best Buy, 3:36 p.m. at Target and 4:42 p.m. at Maison Esthetique; regular car accidents at 6:31 a.m. at Wal-Mart and 12:04 p.m. at Liberty Tree Mall; and parking and traffic controls at 11:13 a.m. at Target, 11:33 a.m. at Liberty Tree Mall, 11:55 a.m. at Wal-Mart, 2:41 p.m. at Liberty Tree Mall, 3:28 p.m. at Liberty Tree Mall and at 4:26 p.m. at Dollar Tree. Police didn't see a reported erratic driver at 3:30 p.m. at the Liberty Tree Mall.

Edvin Gonzalez, 26, of 36 W. Green St., Lynn, was arrested at 4:55 p.m. and charged with driving without a license after a traffic stop on Lynnfield Street.

Four police officers spent about 20 minutes breaking up a reportedly large fight on Cabot Street at 12:48 a.m.
A Beverly Hospital emergency room security guard was spit on and punched as he tried to restrain a patient at 12:59 p.m.
Lucas A. Benjamin, 17, of 2 Oaks Hill Lane, Beverly, was arrested at 11:12 p.m. and charged with speeding, failure to stop or yield and underage possession of alcohol. His passenger, Nicholas K. Robinson, 17, of 155 McKay St., Beverly, was arrested and charged with underage possession of alcohol after a traffic stop on Story Avenue.
