---- — WENHAM — Interim Town Administrator Mark Andrews and the Council on Aging are looking for input from seniors on summer and fall programming at the senior center.

A “listening session” will take place at the senior center, 10 School St., at 3:30 p.m. Monday to gather ideas for on- and off-site programs.

The town is currently looking for a senior and outreach services coordinator, a part-time position for 32.5 hours a week.

‘The goal is to really open up a greater discussion and have the highest level of input and participation for the design of the program,” Andrews said.

Since July 1, Hamilton and Wenham have been sharing senior services on a trial basis to see if the towns could merge the services permanently. They’ve decided, as a result, to have each town go its own way.

“It became apparent that the towns wanted different senior programs and services,” Andrews said.

Selectman Ken Whittaker has previously said that the Council on Aging and senior services is a top priority for the board.
