BEVERLY — Angela Miller graced the stage of “American Idol” for the final time this season last night, performing duets with Adam Lambert and Jessie J during the show’s live finale.
The 19-year-old Beverly High School graduate was eliminated from the show last week after a dramatic rise to stardom that saw her reach the show’s top three. Contestant Candice Glover won the show last night.
Before the results were announced, Miller performed “Titanium” by David Guetta with Adam Lambert, then performed “Domino” by Jessie J — with the performer herself.
After that song, Jessie J explained that since her duet with Miller meant Miller didn’t get to perform her own single, “You Set Me Free,” she wanted Miller to join her in the U.K. so the two could “do a show together.”
“Um, I’d love to go to the U.K.,” Miller said.
Miller had previously described Jessie J as an idol of hers — and had performed versions of her songs “Who You Are” and “Nobody’s Perfect” during the competition.
Miller will be part of the American Idols LIVE! 2013 tour this summer.
