A man in a black coat and with a silver minivan was seen taking pictures in the yard of a home on Harbor Avenue, according to a 9:06 a.m. log entry.



At 2:40 p.m., police arrested Monique Johnson-Upham, 22, 300 Washington St., Salem, on charges of speeding, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, and a warrant out of Woburn, after stopping her on Essex Street. Police reported her driving 47 mph in a 30 mph zone.


Police arrested David Chavez, 24, 6 Jones Terrace, Lynn, on charges of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and a number plate violation at 9:40 a.m. in the area of Paradise Road and Parsons Drive.



A caller from Applebee’s restaurant on Independence Way reported a “walk-out on $40,” at 11:08 p.m.
