Food Addicts in Recovery Anonymous is a free, 12-step recovery program for anyone suffering from food obsession, overeating, undereating or bulimia. An eight-week Boating Skills & Seamanship Course, offered by the Department of Homeland Security, United States Coast Guard Auxiliary and Flotilla 37 of Ipswich, begins Tuesday, Feb. 25, from 7 to 9 p.m., at Ipswich VFW Hall, Route 1A, next to the YMCA. The course meets all state boating safety requirements and is designed for adults and youths ages 14 and older. A certificate will be awarded for successful completion. The New Hampshire state exam will also be offered. Text and course material are included. The cost is $77.80/adult; each adult must have his or her own book. A winter parking ban in Marblehead is in effect through April 15. Parking is prohibited on any street for a period of time longer than one hour between the hours of midnight and 7 a.m. No warning tickets will be given. For more information, call 781-631-0000.
