A story that appeared on Page 1 of Wednesday’s Salem News, “Bus driver, monitor charged after boy left in wrong spot,” requires correction. The child who was dropped off at the wrong location by a Beverly schools bus driver was left at the bus stop on a corner near his home. Also, the policy about unsupervised drop-offs claimed by the bus monitor is not a policy of St. John the Evangelist School, a private school.
