At 3:47 a.m., police arrested Donna Woodford, 48, 26 Home St., on an assault and battery charge after receiving a report of domestic assault from her home.
Police arrested two women at 5 p.m. on Lake Street. Rachael Halupowski, 26, 374 Lynnfield St., was arrested on a charge of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. Nancy Hill-Halupowski, 59, 130 Eastern Ave., Lynn, was arrested on charges of operating a motor vehicle without an inspection sticker, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration, operating an uninsured vehicle and allowing an unlicensed person operate a motor vehicle.
A 13-year-old in the area of Cedar Grove Avenue struck his mother, according to a 5:53 p.m. report.
At 12:31 a.m., police arrested Jane Dasilva, 42, 8 Oakland St., on a charge of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, after she was stopped in the Welch School area on Swampscott Avenue.
A caller from Northend Street area reported at 8:39 a.m. that the side mirror on his car was knocked off.
Police received a report of a man walking on Route 1 in the Newbury Street area, yelling at traffic, at 12:48 p.m.
Salem detectives executed a search warrant on Bridge Street at 7:23 p.m. and arrested Christal Gould, 33, 127 Bridge St., on a charge of possession of a class B substance (Percocet) with intent to distribute and four counts of distribution of a class B substance. The arrest was the result of a monthlong investigation that included surveillance and sales to an undercover officer, according to police.
At 9:14 p.m., police arrested Joseph Deisley, 55, 12 Dudley St., Peabody, on a drunken-driving charge after officers responded to a report of a car that struck a guardrail on the Beverly-Salem bridge.
A caller in the Lafayette Street area reported at 5:34 a.m. that at some point overnight, someone let the air out of both passenger-side tires of his girlfriend’s car. According to the log, the air had been only let out of the tires. They had not been punctured.
At 12:50 p.m., a caller in the area of Hazel Street reported that sometime between 1 a.m. and 2 a.m., someone damaged the driver’s side rear taillight on her car while it was parked in her driveway.
Police received a call regarding a person doing drugs in the bathroom of CVS on Canal street, according to a 1:19 p.m. log item. The assistant manager reported that after using the bathroom, he observed a woman leave the building with a can of Dust-Off electronic duster she had not paid for.
At 2:22 p.m., police arrested Julio Chavez, 32, 27 Alice Ave., Lynn, on a charge of operating a motor vehicle without being licensed, after stopping him on Highland Avenue.
A person broke into a building on Paradise Road and stole a microwave and a wide-screen TV from the premises, according to a 2:30 p.m. report. The log said someone broke into the building through the back door, damaging the rear push bar. Things were also moved around.
At 11:53 a.m., a woman from Colgate Road reported hearing someone scream for help, the log said. She couldn’t tell where it originated but said it was possibly coming diagonally across from her home. The log said it was coming from another home on the street, where a woman had fallen.
A caller from Morton Road reported a suspicious man who asked about handyman services at a late hour, according to an 8:45 p.m. report. The man was white, in his mid-50s, heavyset, wearing a light blue jacket and driving a white van parked in the area, the log said.
A caller from Maple Street reported hearing noises in the garage at 3:23 a.m.
