A two-car accident on Summit Street at 2:07 p.m. sent a woman to Salem Hospital via Atlantic Ambulance.

The building inspector was consulted after an 87-year-old Brooksby Village woman drove her 1998 Buick LeSabre into the Route 114 Walgreens, as reported at 2:57 p.m. The building was closed due to structural concerns.

Police responded at 2:58 p.m. when a man reported his 40-year-old daughter had overdosed on prescription medicine. She was taken to Salem Hospital by Atlantic Ambulance.

A 24-year-old Peabody woman will be summonsed on charges of driving with a suspended license and safety violations after a stop on Lynn Street at 3:40 p.m.

Facebook comments and telephone threats from “her son’s father” had a woman complaining to police at 5:07 p.m. Police suggested a harassment order from the courts.

A manager at Gaetas Auto Service on Route 1 told police at 7:29 p.m. of a missing cellphone worth $250. Officers will check the “surveillance system,” according to the log.

Following a report of a domestic disturbance at 8:09 p.m., police arrested a woman at the Extended Stay America on Jubilee Drive due to an outstanding warrant.

A dad told police at 8:53 p.m. that his 13-year-old son had gone out, saying he wasn’t coming back. This followed an argument over his 9:30 p.m. curfew. Police responded to a report of someone breaking into cars. It was the son, who told officers that he “was just looking at them.” They brought him home.

When two of his friends got involved in a confrontation, a man on Essex Street alerted police at 6:01 p.m.

Robert P. Jellison, 43, 6 Home St., Salem, was arrested, as logged at 6:30 p.m., at Boston and Hanson streets by Patrolman Gilbert Priddy on charges of drunken driving (with a previous conviction), driving to endanger, following too closely and two counts of resisting arrest. The arrest followed a five-car, chain-reaction accident in which an ambulance was summoned for “a life-threatening injury,” according to the log.
