Rescue group offers pet photos with Santa

SALEM — The Salem PetSmart will be the site on Saturday for Photos with Santa Claws, a fundraiser for PALS Animal Life Savers.

For $5, visitors can bring their dogs, cats or other pets to pose with Santa. Pet owners are asked to bring their own cameras; volunteers will be on site to assist, and holiday accessories will be available. Hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The event will help support the all-volunteer cat rescue group, which has an adoption center at the Salem PetSmart. Funds are needed to help pay for veterinary care.
