A man was transported to Salem Hospital after a 10:38 a.m. report that he’d collapsed in the parking lot of the Stop & Shop on Howley Street.

A Thorndike Street man reported at 10:51 a.m. that his neighbor was being nosy. Police wrote later that it was part of an “ongoing neighbor issue.”

An officer was unable to locate two males who were reported to be asking people for their IDs at 152 Washington St. at 7:05 p.m.

Police conducted a traffic stop on Washington Street about 10:30 p.m. and subsequently arrested Andres Emilio Reyes, 21, of 56 Dow St., Salem, on a charge of possession of a class D substance with intent to distribute.

A 10:31 p.m. report of a screaming child brought police to 190 Bridge St., where they determined a 7-year-old had been yelling because he didn’t want to do his homework.

About noontime, an officer on Boston Street arrested Isaac J. Gaines, 26, of 7 Holten St., Peabody, on charges of operating a motor vehicle after license suspension and entering a restricted way.

Police received an 11:26 a.m. report of a residential break-in at 149 High St.

A report shortly before 5 p.m. that a pedestrian had been struck by a vehicle brought police to the area of High and Water streets, but they were unable to locate the individual.
