Snow emergency parking bans for Saturday, Dec. 14

SALEM: Parking ban goes into effect at 11 p.m. today and will remain so until further notice. All vehicles must be removed from city streets and sidewalks.

BEVERLY: Parking ban starts at 8 p.m. and will remain in effect for up to 24 hours. No parking will be allowed on municipal streets. Municipal lots are available for motorists without other accommodations, but meter fees still need to be paid.

PEABODY: No parking ban had been announced as of last night. Bans are announced via blue lights at intersections in the city, as well as on cable access TV, 1030 AM, 104.9 FM, and on the police department’s Facebook and Twitter accounts.

DANVERS: No parking ban had been announced as of last night. Bans are announced via reverse-911 call to city residents and on the police department’s Facebook and Twitter accounts.

MARBLEHEAD: Already has a winter parking ban in effect.

SWAMPSCOTT: No parking ban had been announced as of last night. Bans are announced via blue lights at intersections in the city and via the police department.
