Ashley E. Lachance, 19, homeless, was arrested on assault and battery and two warrants at the intersection of Broad and Winthrop streets at 9:16 p.m.

Saturday

Panagiotis Mattheos, 38, 20 Hawthorne St., Salem, was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct on Highland Avenue at 1:17 a.m.

Police responded to Lafayette and Leach streets on a report of a “suspicious male party who approached a female” at 1:55 a.m. The woman reported that a man pulled over in a silver Toyota as she walked alone and asked her if she was a prostitute and left after she said no. He later approached her on foot and “exposed himself to her,” she reported to police. She said that the man got back into his car and drove in the direction of Lafayette Street. The man was not located.

A caller reported “male parties smashed windows to Hummer” at the intersection of Lawrence and Wheatland Street at 5:31 p.m.

Matthew J. Kowalski, 36, 36R West St., Beverly, was arrested on charges of disorderly person and resisting arrest at 9:39 p.m. Kowalski refused to leave the Tavern in Square restaurant and became “combative and belligerent” toward police, according to the log.

Sunday

Nicole C. Wright, 31, of Lynn was arrested on a charge of shoplifting by asportation at 450 Highland Ave. at 1:50 p.m.

Swampscott

Friday

The school resource officer reported that there was a “nonstudent creating a disturbance” at the high school, 200 Essex St. at 1:33 p.m.

Saturday

Thomas Hill, 47, 1 Loring Ave., Swampscott, was arrested on charges of domestic assault and battery and intimidating a witness, according to a 3:24 a.m. log item.

Police responded to a report of a vehicle hitting a guard rail and fire hydrant on Puritan Road at 11:18 p.m. The Fire Department was notified about the hydrant being out of service.
