Police received a 9:28 a.m. report that an unlocked car in an open garage on Overlook Road had been broken into.

An 11:25 p.m. report of a “dispute over a snowblower purchase” brought police to Marion Road.

A man with dementia was transported to Salem Hospital from Carlton Road after an 11:34 a.m. report that he was “not responding to commands — just moaning and groaning.”

A Harris Street man reported at 1:23 p.m. that he hadn’t seen his brother for two years.

A Crown Way caller reported at 2:04 p.m. that somebody had taken a few Poland Springs bottles from his porch.

Police and the Fire Department responded to a Cloutmans Lane address after a 2:13 p.m. report that a 21-month-old child had fallen down 13 stairs. The child was not hospitalized.



Police received a 9:23 a.m. report that a man was shoveling snow into the street on Walker Road.

Police conducted a traffic stop on Essex Street about 10 a.m. and subsequently arrested Faustino Lopez, 34, of 20 Lynnfield St., Lynn, on charges of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, failure to stop or yield and impeded operation.

A motorist was transported to Salem Hospital for evaluation after a 2:09 p.m. report that he or she had “hit a snowbank and then struck a tree” on Walker Road.

Police received a 6:14 p.m. report that an employee at the UPS store on Paradise Road had stolen thousands of dollars “by crediting his personal credit card.”



Police received a 4:44 p.m. report that an injured dog was limping down Thorndike Street.


A schizophrenic woman at the Harborlight property at 1 Monument Square reported at 3:26 a.m. that staff there were “starting fires in her room and ... trying to kill her.”
