Police were unable to locate the vehicle that was reported to be stuck on the train tracks at Elliott and Beckford streets at 11:44 a.m.
Police were unable to locate two men who were reported to be yelling in the roadway at 327 Rantoul St. at 12:36 p.m.
Three people sustained minor injuries in a three-car accident on Cabot Street about 6:30 p.m.
A 3:46 p.m. report of shoplifting at Newbury Comics at Northshore Mall resulted in the arrest of Hakeem Renelique, 24, of 24 River St., Apt. 1, Acton, on charges of larceny over $250 and carrying a dangerous weapon.
A 3:52 p.m. report of shoplifting at JC Penney at Northshore Mall resulted in the arrest of Jazmin A. Adames, 27, of 39 Boylston St., Apt. 5, Boston, on a charge of shoplifting over $100 by concealing merchandise.
Security at Northshore Mall reported at 5:48 p.m. that somebody was using counterfeit money at Abercrombie & Fitch. “Officer Nelson spoke to party, reported bills do not appear to be counterfeit,” police wrote later.
Police were seeking warrants for two men with charges of unarmed robbery and assault and battery after a 12:10 a.m. report that they had taken a cellphone and $200 from a man in the vicinity of 7 Central St. One of the men was arrested later in the morning after a detective “noticed the suspect’s mother and will be following her to see if she may lead officers to the suspect’s location,” according to the log.
Police received a 1 p.m. report that somebody was passed out in a vehicle at 260 Andover St. Police wrote later: “Person was on a break from their job and taking a nap.”
Police received a 5:32 p.m. report of shoplifting at the Hallmark store at Liberty Tree Mall and subsequently arrested Brianna Lovejoy, 33, of 35 Walter St., Apt. 2, Salem, on a charge of shoplifting by asportation.
