Free Christmas dinners on the North Shore to be served Dec. 25

There’s a Christmas dinner waiting for everyone on the North Shore.

Churches and social service agencies will once again offer free Christmas dinners to those in need or those who would enjoy the companionship on Christmas Day.

Haven From Hunger, 71 Wallis St. in Peabody, will be serving Christmas dinner with turkey, ham and all the fixings at noon on Christmas Day. (978-531-1530)

Lifebridge, 56 Margin St. in Salem, will serve two Christmas dinners, at 12:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. on Christmas Day. (978-744-0500)

North Shore Unitarian Universalist Church, 323 Locust St. in Danvers, will host its 32nd Christmas Dinner with friends on Christmas Day from 1 to 3 p.m. The meal is sponsored by the Danvers Clergy Association and Temple Beth Shalom of Peabody. Transportation to the meal is available; call the church by noon on Tuesday, Dec. 24, to sign up. (978-774-7582)

Beverly Memorial United Methodist Church, 2 Dane St., Beverly, will serve Christmas dinner at 6 p.m. on Christmas Day. The event is being coordinated by North Shore Community Baptist Church. (978-927-2014)

My Brother’s Table, 98 Willow St., Lynn, will serve Christmas dinner to individuals and families from 2:30 to 4:15 p.m. on Christmas Day. (781-595-3224)
