Police received a 9:41 p.m. report that rocks had been thrown over a fence on Andover Street.

An officer was unable to locate a man who was reported to be looking into cars in the vicinity of 110 Newbury St. at 10:06 a.m.



A 17-year-old man was arrested on Pleasant Street on a charge of possession of liquor under 21 at 5:50 p.m. Police were called to the area for a drunken “male stumbling around with a bottle of booze.”

Samuel D. Snow, 22, 3 Cloutmans Lane, Marblehead, was arrested on charges of drunken driving, failure to stop/yield and leaving the scene of property damage, according to a 6:45 p.m. report. A caller reported to police a white pickup truck sideswiped a couple of parked cars on Pleasant Street and headed toward Salem. Snow was transported to the Swampscott Police Station for a blood alcohol test, according to the log.


Cathryn M. Singley, 18, 21 Prospect Ave., Swampscott, was arrested at 1:03 a.m. after being pulled over on Ocean Avenue on charges of drunken driving, speeding and marked lanes violation. A passenger was taken into protective custody.


Corey M. O’Neil, 21, of Haverhill was arrested at 3 a.m. on charges of drunken driving, speeding and marked lanes violation after being pulled over at the intersection of Humphrey Street and Glendale Road.



A 1:18 a.m. report of an intoxicated person brought police to 1 Keys Drive. Police wrote: “Mother is upset with son who doesn’t work and just stays on the couch. Officers gave mother alternatives, and she may go to court to have the son removed.”

An officer found that a silver SUV had backed up to the front doors of Duddy’s Liquors on Newbury Street, according to a 1:27 a.m. log item. “Tired operator who pulled over to rest,” police wrote later. “He was looking at the treadmills in the fitness store.”
