SALEM — Police say two men showed a large kitchen knife during a robbery at El Punto Market at 21 Salem St. last night.

No injuries were reported.

The incident occurred about 8:30 p.m., according to radio reports.

The suspects were described as Hispanic men, one of whom was wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt, a white T-shirt, dark-colored jeans, white sneakers and a bandana over his face. The other was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, dark-colored jeans, gray sneakers and a mask over his face. Radio reports indicated that both men were also wearing gloves.

The suspects were last seen taking a right onto Harbor Street from Salem Street.

An officer said last night it was unclear whether the suspects had made off with anything from the store.
