A Washington Street man reported at 11:41 a.m. that his neighbor had a loud muffler and that she left her vehicle running too long — 20 to 30 minutes — in the morning. Police advised him to call back when the vehicle was actually running and wrote: “He states if it wasn’t an aftermarket muffler it wouldn’t be heard and wouldn’t bother them. He would like them to be told to get a regular muffler.”
