According to an 8:14 a.m. report, two large windows were smashed at the St. Pierre Hair Salon on Derby Street, probably during the night.

A Heritage Drive resident recorded his 1997 Honda stolen at 8:43 a.m. It was later recovered in Woburn with one broken window.

Police judged a 1963 five dollar bill as valid, at noon, after the manager of Burger King on Highland Avenue refused to accept one from a customer, believing it might be counterfeit.

After allegedly punching the witness against him when the two met during the Fourth of July celebration in Salem, a man has found himself the subject of a warrant charging intimidation of a witness, assault and battery to intimidate and malicious destruction of property. According to the victim, the man approached him and said, "You're not going to testify against me right?" When the potential witness replied, "I'm going to do whatever I have to!" he reports being punched in the face while his silver chain was torn off and his cellphone thrown to the ground, according to the log at 12:05 p.m.

A man was removed from his girlfriend's place on Essex Street at 12:49 p.m. as she said he has relapsed and gone back on heroin.

A woman on Derby Street told police at 3:44 p.m. that her vehicle was stolen.

Richard J. Burke, 41, of 24 Hereford Road, Marblehead, was arrested on Raymond Road at 4:47 p.m. by Patrolman Gary Lebrun and charged with driving after his license was suspended and speeding.

The owner of the house at 107 Mason St. has received notification that it has been identified by the Community Impact Unit as a "disorderly house. Police have made 11 visits for loud parties, fights and disturbances since January, according to police. "The owner has been put on notice that the issues must be corrected or he could face a criminal complaint as a keeper of a disorderly house," according to the log at 6:32 p.m.

A man who ran out of gas on Bridge Street at 7:42 p.m. found more bad news after he walked back from the gas station with a gas can. Police had come upon the car with its hazard lights flashing and discovered that the registration was revoked as he had no insurance. The car was towed.

Jessenia M. Diaz, 24, of 1000 Loring Ave., Salem, was arrested at 7:54 p.m. at home by Patrolmen William Olivieri and Radames Gonzalez and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. Her boyfriend, who was bleeding from the top of his head, told police he had been hit there with an object, said to be a necklace with a weighted chain on it, by Diaz.

Wednesday

Police answered a report of a fight on Harrod Street at 12:30 a.m. As police "pulled up people were seen scattering in all directions," according to the log. A woman told them a man named Jordan was bleeding from his face or head or both. Peabody police were enlisted in the search, but he could not be found, having run with everyone else.

A Salem man caught with fireworks on the front seat of his car near Rainbow Terrace at 1:24 a.m. will be summonsed for possessing them.

Marc A. Coelho, 21, of 15 Summit St., Salem, was arrested following a fight at his address. He will be charged with two counts of assault, one with a knife. Casey M. Coleman, 21, of 36 Buena Vista Ave., Salem, was arrested for his part in the fight and faces one count of assault with a dangerous weapon — a car window. Both claim that the alleged victim, who was bruised on the head and cut in the hand and received 22 stitches, started the fight. The victim and his three companions, according to Coelho in the log, "left the area but returned with three cars of kids looking to fight." The injuries to the victim, Coleman said, were caused by broken glass. Patrolman Timothy Salvo, Dana Mazola and Sgt. Andrew Dacy participated in the arrest, according to the log at 1:54 a.m.

A two-car rear-end collision on Jefferson Avenue at 9:26 a.m. resulted in double trouble for one driver, sent to the hospital via Atlantic Ambulance and cited for following too closely.

Sean N. Collado, 20, of 63 Rainbow Terrace, Salem, was arrested at 9:47 a.m. at the Highland Avenue Market Basket by Patrolman Erik Manninen on charges of shoplifting and assault and battery.

A woman on Leavitt Street told police at 10:38 a.m. that she put her baseboards on the porch in preparation for painting them only to later discover they were gone, apparently stolen.

Tina Marie White, 45, of 41 Northend St., Peabody, was arrested on Leach Street by officers Charlene Sano and Thomas Pelletier on charges of assault and battery and malicious destruction of property. Police describe a dispute where White, who is homeless, was staying with her son and his pregnant girlfriend and reacted with violence when asked to leave, according to the log at 11:37 a.m.

A woman on Cavendish Circle told police at 11:50 a.m. that she crashed into a neighbor's rock wall as she pulled into her own driveway because "her car (a Honda Civic) suddenly accelerated."

Peabody

Monday

It was back to Marblehead for a stolen Audi found, via Lojack, near a pole at the Northshore Mall, according to the log at 4:34 p.m.

Buddha's Tavern on Washington Street reported a walk-out (without paying) at 6:13 p.m. Police responded.

A 40-year-old Peabody man will be summonsed for violating a restraining order. He was seen driving past the house on Bartholomew Street of a woman he was not supposed to be near.

Police answered multiple fireworks complaints throughout the night, but encountered difficulty as the noise had often subsided before officers arrived. A group was required to clean up the area after police located them and the remnants of their firecrackers at the Center School at 9:55 p.m.

A fight at Tannery Apartments on Warren Street drew police at 10:01 p.m. after a report that "one party may have a knife," according to the log. That person had left the area, however, before police arrived.

Tuesday

Police documented graffiti on the YMCA on Lynnfield Street at 4:59 a.m.

A resident on Livingston Drive reported a window broken by a vandal at 5 a.m.

Kingston police contacted Peabody regarding a woman who had gone missing while camping. Peabody investigated and informed Kingston that the woman was in the custody of the North Andover police.

Someone broke into the concessions stand at MacArthur Park over the weekend and stole the cash box, according to a 8:13 a.m. log entry.

The clerk at the Lynn Street 7-Eleven complained at 9:43 a.m. over a shoplifter who refused to give back what was stolen. The suspect, a woman, was told not to come back.

A man on Lowell Street told police at 10:15 a.m. that he returned home and saw his ex-girlfriend running from his residence. A look inside revealed cash and checks missing. A camera at the nearby 7-Eleven was consulted before police summonsed a 24-year-old Peabody woman on charges of breaking and entering to commit a robbery and larceny over $250.

A 42-year-old man will be summonsed for receiving stolen property and attaching phony license plates after police checked on a vehicle on Holten Street.

A 28-year-old and a 41-year-old man will be summonsed for driving without a license after a stop on Lowell Street at 12:13 p.m. Both of their vehicles were towed away.

Siumar B. DaSilva, 47, of 11 Pendexter St., Lynn, was arrested on Lowell Street at 1:16 p.m. on a charge of driving with a suspended license — and not for the first time.

Fireworks resulted in one casualty on Westview Circle as the noise startled the family dog, Peppino, who bit someone on the face. A 10-day quarantine was ordered by the animal control officer at 1:31 p.m.

A criminal summons for drunken driving may result from an accident that saw a vehicle driving through a fence on Bourbon Street at 3:18 p.m. A dog had to be taken to the veterinarian and the woman driver was taken to the hospital.

A 28-year-old man will be summonsed for driving with a revoked registration and no insurance after a stop on Washington Street at 3:30 p.m.

A Squanto Road woman reported vandalism to her vehicle at 3:40 p.m.

An accident on Centennial Drive at 3:46 p.m. involved a vehicle and a motorcycle and sent one person to Salem Hospital via Atlantic Ambulance.

Vandalism to a vehicle was reported on Greenwood Road at 5:10 p.m.

Police were flagged down at 5:26 p.m. on Elizabeth Lane for a husband-and-wife argument that featured the husband "throwing yard debris into the street," according to the log.

A Route 1 resident called police after seeing "two sandwich bags of marijuana in the driveway," according to the log at 6:27 p.m. Police took the bags away for destruction.

A trucking company on Lakeland Park Drive reported at 9:12 p.m. the theft of inspection stickers over the weekend.

A man on Perley Avenue told police at 9:53 p.m. that his truck was vandalized between noon and 4:30 a.m.

Wednesday

A resident on Nancy Avenue reported "a rock thrown through his window" at 7:45 a.m.

A man was taken to Salem Hospital after his ex-girlfriend told police at 9:10 a.m. that he had called to say he'd taken 60 Tylenol and was vomiting blood.

A vehicle on Route 1 was broken into and prescription medication stolen, according to the log at 9:18 a.m.

A vehicle on Route 1 was broken into during the night and a GPS and a wallet taken, according to the log at 9:38 a.m.

Monday

Heaters were reported stolen from a building on Andover Street at 7:25 p.m.

Tuesday

Graffiti was found on the Peabody Institute Library, according to the log at 7:50 a.m.

An attempt to break into a business on Elm Street was recorded in the log at 11:27 a.m.

A break-in at a residence on Sylvan Street was investigated at 2:13 p.m.

Cody Beattie, 19, of 11 Cushing St., Salem, was arrested at the Target on Independence Way at 5:31 p.m. by Officer Peter Shabowich on a charge of shoplifting DVDs and shirts.

Police were called as a result of a dispute between neighbors on Dyer Court at 8:36 p.m.

Lauren Hartigan, 17, of 2412 Kirkbride Drive, Danvers, Chelsey McMahon, 18, of 70 Liberty St., Danvers, and Emily Ciarametaro, 18, of 66 Forest St., Peabody, were arrested at Plains Park at 9:30 p.m. by Officer Keith Chalmers on a charge of disorderly conduct. Police had responded to a report of a fight and "two women intoxicated."

An accident with personal injury was reported on High Street at 9:57 p.m. One occupant complained of neck pain.

Police responded at 11 p.m. to a claim of a larceny on High Street involving a pocketbook.

Wednesday

A rock was said to have been thrown through a window at St. Mary's School, according to the log at 9:12 a.m.

Police investigated at 12:57 p.m. a complaint regarding a laptop computer taken from car on Ash Street.

A vehicle was said to have been broken into in the vicinity of Buffalo Wild Wings on Independence Way, according to the log at 1:19 p.m.

Police noted a woman pointing a gun at a man on Route 1 at 1:28 p.m., but it proved to be a BB gun, and no arrest was made.

Marblehead

Tuesday

A woman on Pleasant Street told police at 9:23 a.m. that her daughter's bike is missing.

A bicyclist who suffered a fractured collarbone after a driver "opened his car door and hit him as he rode by" couldn't get the man to give his name. The cyclist did, however, get his license plate number, which he turned in to police at 9:28 a.m.

An apparent attempt to steal a car on Bennett Road didn't get far. The owner told police at 10:34 a.m. that the ignition was tampered with, the car got into gear but just rolled into the yard and crashed into a rock.

The Larouche PAC protesters, complete with images of President Obama wearing a Hitler moustache, were back on Smith Street near the post office and, according to the log at 2:04 p.m. Their appearance inspired "numerous" complaints to the police. At least one protest, however, has come from the protesters. "Received a call from Myles Robinson of the Larouche PAC complaining there are three boys who are harassing him and he feels intimidated," according to the police report. "He also related that every time someone approaches the table that the boys yell at them." Police responded by pointing out the boys had a right to be at the post office. Meanwhile, a woman complained to police that she told the PAC that she disagreed with them and they told her to "grow a brain."

A woman on Atlantic Avenue reported her boyfriend's slashed tire at 2:25 p.m. She also noted "her ex-husband is not happy that she is dating," according to the log.

A Green Street resident reported a break-in at 2:33 p.m. She told police she was missing some address labels and added "that someone breaks in about once a week," according to the log.

A group of youths, 17 to 18, were accused of throwing something at a bicyclist as they drove past. "The one that threw the object was described as fat," according to the log at 7:01 p.m.
