Middleton Public Schools will hold registration for kindergarten for the 2014-2015 school year at Fuller Meadow School today through Friday, Feb. 7, between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., at 143 S. Main St., Middleton. Information has been mailed to the households of eligible Middleton children who were born between Sept. 1, 2008, and Aug. 31, 2009. Anyone who did not receive the information may contact the Fuller Meadow School at 978-750-4756.

The Friends of Abbot Library’s Winter Book Sale runs through Tuesday, Feb. 4, at the library. Sale proceeds from books, DVDs and other goods will support the library. The sale is open to the general public with different bargains available each day. The library is at 235 Pleasant St., Marblehead. Danvers Integrated Preschool will hold a Peer Partner Screening today at Riverside Elementary School, 95 Liberty St., Danvers. The school is enrolling children who will be 3 or 4 years old by Sept. 1, 2014, for the school’s current preschool program for children ages 3 to 5. The Peer Partner Screening is a 20-minute play group during which a child’s language, social, physical and cognitive development will be informally screened as part of the enrollment process. Marblehead Arts Association is accepting submissions of artwork in all mediums for its New England Regional Juried Exhibit. All submitted works must be original, available for sale and not previously exhibited in an MAA show. All work must be properly framed or gallery wrapped (no clip-on frames or sawtooth hooks) and ready for hanging with a wire. A limited number of pedestals are available for sculptures. MAA members and nonmembers alike may submit up to three pieces on Tuesday, Feb. 4, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 8 p.m., to the Marblehead Arts Association, 8 Hooper St., Marblehead. The exhibit will be judged and juried for prizes. The exhibit runs Feb. 8 through March 2 with an artist reception on Sunday, Feb. 9, from 2 to 4 p.m. For information about submitting work, visit www.marbleheadarts.org/exhibits.html.
