A caller reported a “Man banging on door” at 62 Pleasant St. at 12:35 a.m.
A person reported seeing a blood trail on Hale Street at 10:59 a.m. According to the log, police followed the trail to a dead end, but a person found at Beverly Hospital admitted the blood was his in connection to the incident.
At 11:41 a.m., a person reported getting punched in the face by two unidentified men on Herrick Street.
Police arrested Ginnette Garcia, 24, of 74 Rainbow Terrace, on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, operating a motor vehicle with an expired inspection sticker, and a warrant out of Lynn, after she was pulled over at 11:24 a.m. on Highland Avenue.
At 10:53 p.m., police arrested Joseph Collins, 47, of 66 Marlborough Road, on a charge of assault and battery, after responding to a call on Marlborough Road.
Police arrested Edgar Pimental, 28, of 12 Peabody St., on a charge of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, and a warrant out of Salem, after responding to a report of a car accident at 10:35 p.m. on Aborn Street.
A Peabody fire truck struck a wall in front of a building on Aborn Street at 11:26 p.m. The wall sustained damage to the top portion of the structure, as well as a cement block. There was also minor damage to a nearby house where it meets the wall, the log said.
A caller from Charles Street reported at 1:10 a.m. that she and a friend had about $400 each stolen from their purses which were in her car parked in front of 5 Charles St.
At 5:03 a.m., Salem State University police arrested Nathaniel Gaye, 19, of 14 Aldon Road, Peabody, on charges of breaking and entering at night, disorderly conduct, trespassing and resisting arrest, after police were called to 20 Harrison Road and the Bates Townhouses. During the booking process, Gaye was found with a powdery substance believed to be heroin and was charged with possession of a class A substance as well, the log said.
