Police received a 6:27 p.m. report from a woman who said her young daughter had been approached by a male wearing a Patriots shirt inside the Dunkin’ Donuts at 112 Elliott St. The man asked the girl “if her parents were around” and if “she was alone,” according to the log. An officer was unable to locate the man.

A 10:46 p.m. report of a loud house party brought police to 24 Franklin St. Police wrote later that six adults in an “inflatable moon bounce” had been asked to quiet down.

A bicyclist was transported to Salem Hospital with injuries to his ribs and back after being struck by a motor vehicle at 226 North St., according to a 10:58 a.m. log item.

A suspicious man was “acting strangely” at the Leggs Hill YMCA pool during family time, according to a 6:13 p.m. report. “While the party was in the shallow end of the pool a condom fell out of his pocket,” wrote police. “The ... reporting party engaged in conversation with him and he became irritated ... the male party then stated he was on the board of directors and continued on a strange conversation and then left the area on a bicycle.” Police were unable to locate him.

Police responded to an 8:34 p.m. report of a disturbance in the park at Palmer and Prince streets and subsequently arrested Laurancia Exilhomme, 26, of 44 Park St., Salem, on charges of disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and two counts of assault and battery. She was also wanted on a warrant, according to the log.

Monday

A car struck a building at 12 Pope St., according to a 1:20 a.m. report. No injuries were reported, and the woman driving the vehicle at the time will be summonsed on charges of operating an unregistered vehicle and negligent operation so as to endanger, according to the log.
