A caller from 10 Heritage Road reported to police at 10:35 a.m. that her neighbor texted her “and stated that he was going to kill her, stab her in the face, and blow up her car.” According to the report, the caller said she believes he is angry because he wants to have a relationship with her, and she rejected him because she became engaged the night before the incident.
Police were called to 96 Bridge St. at 11:34 a.m. on a report of a “phone scam.” The caller said he received a call from someone claiming to be from National Grid and that “he owed monies or his electricity will be shut off in an hour.”
Police responded to a call from 127 Canal St. at 2:01 p.m. after a woman said someone had tampered with her mail. According to a police report, the caller came home to find a package that was delivered to her “was found ripped open and one item stolen out of it.”
Police were called to 122 Lafayette St. at 3:11 p.m. on a report of a “road rage dispute.” Both parties were advised to stay away from each other and control their anger in the future, according to a police report.
Police responded to a 4:36 p.m. report of a break-in at 43 Boston St. and subsequently arrested Steven Frank Swain, 51, 4 Druid Ave., Peabody, on a charge of attempting to commit a crime.
Police responded to a 10:49 p.m. report that somebody was breaking bottles at AMC Theatre at Liberty Tree Mall and subsequently arrested Kristaq Stefani, 19, of 59 Washington St. in Canton on a charge of disorderly conduct.
A 9:27 a.m. report of an unwanted guest at 2124 Kirkbride Drive resulted in the arrest of Stephen Florentino, 28, of the same address, on charges of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
