Police received an 11:34 p.m. report that someone in a vehicle was driving up and down Roycroft Road “throwing eggs at houses.” An officer was unable to locate it.


A caller reported at 12:31 p.m. that his 14-year-old grandson had gone missing at the Northshore Mall, but the boy had been found by the time an officer arrived.



Police received a 2:52 p.m. report that a large group of children were fighting at Herrick Street and Sohier Road, but officers were unable to locate them.

A man was stumbling in the area of Herrick and Heather streets, according to a 9:50 p.m. report.

Officers determined a woman had suffered an adverse reaction to medication after a 10:54 p.m. report that a “hysterical” female had called the state police.

A Wallis Street resident reported at 11:09 p.m. that a rowdy group of youths had grabbed a garden ornament. Police were unable to locate them.



Police received a 12:45 a.m. report of a domestic disturbance on Norman Street and subsequently arrested Michael Rice, 28, of 70 Mill Road, Woburn, on charges of domestic assault and battery, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.

A 2:01 a.m. request for assistance from security at the North Shore Medical Center resulted in the arrest of Diane H. Lovejoy, 57, of 11 Cliff St., Marblehead, on charges of trespassing, resisting arrest and disturbing the peace.

Police received an 8:37 a.m. report of an accident between a vehicle and bicycle at North and School streets. The operator of a 2008 Ford Explorer told police that his car was struck in the driver’s side by a bicyclist as he went through the intersection; the bicyclist reportedly was fine and told him, “This happens all the time,” before getting on his bike and riding off. No injuries were reported and the vehicle had minor damage.

A man reported that tools had been stolen from 102 Jackson St. at some point over the past month, according to an 11:57 a.m. log item.



Police received a 5:32 p.m. report that a street sign on Conant Street was leaning into the roadway.


A bullet was found in a pool at the Avalon Danvers apartment complex at 1101 Kirkbride Drive, according to an 11:57 a.m. log item.
