Comedy night benefits PALS

SALEM — Three local comedians are coming to the rescue next week for abandoned cats.

Dave Rattigan, Steve Calechman and Tony V will all be performing Wednesday, June 5, at Finz Restaurant on Pickering Wharf to benefit PALS Animal Life Savers. The nonprofit runs a no-kill shelter for homeless cats and kittens inside the PetSmart store on Traders Way in Salem.

The event will include raffles, and a cash bar and limited menu will be available.

Doors will open at 6 p.m., and the show begins at 7:30.
