Police accompanied the city solicitor to Wirling Drive and Nelson Avenue at 10:48 a.m. to observe land under dispute.
Patricia Mary Tata, 48, of 88 Cabot St., Apt. 1, Beverly, was arrested at 3:59 p.m. and charged with cocaine possession.
A Dartmouth Street resident called police at 5:13 p.m. to report a teenager who possibly had a gun. Police searched the area and found nothing, but a woman called later to report her son had been walking around with an Airsoft pistol, which she said had since been destroyed.
Police disposed of six or seven hypodermic needles found near Briscoe Middle School at 6:41 p.m.
Police took a report about a stolen bicycle at 15 Lothrop Street at 7:07 p.m.
A caller reported teenagers were trying to steal a stop sign at the intersection of Eaton and Lindsey avenues at 9:52 p.m. Police said the area was clear and found no evidence of an attempted larceny.

Police took a report of a window that was broken by vandals on Amherst Road at 1:22 a.m.
A railroad crossing gate broke off at the crossing by Elliott Street and McPherson Drive around 9:54 a.m.

Police took a report of shoplifting at Walmart at 55 Brooksby Village Drive at 9:21 p.m.
Tuesday
Patrick Osgood, 37, of 44 Fox Run Road, Topsfield, was arrested at 6:22 a.m. on Locust Street and charged with speeding and driving with a suspended license.
Police responded to a car accident with injuries at Walgreens, at 107 High St., at 10:30 a.m.
Dustin Farrell, 24, of 40 North Putnam St., Danvers was arrested on a warrant and transported to Salem District Court.
Police took a report of shoplifting at 11:43 a.m. at the Liberty Tree Mall.
Peabody
Monday
The principal of Center School, at 18 Irving St., called to report vandalism to the school. Sometime over the weekend, two windows were broken by either a BB gun or a rock, according to the police log.
Police investigated an assault at Lalihos Park on Nancy Avenue at 6:29 p.m. Witnesses told police that someone was struck over the head, but the involved parties fled the scene.
James Spaulding, 36, of 160 Union St., Manchester, was arrested at 8:14 p.m. at 65 Central St. He was arrested on an outstanding warrant charging unlicensed driving, failure to wear a seat belt and speeding.
The CVS Pharmacy at 85 Lynnfield St. reported at 8:42 p.m that someone took $250 worth of prescription medication that was not prescribed to them.
Police plan to summon Jeffrey Tom, 20, of 32 Johnson St., Peabody, on charges of driving with a revoked registration and driving an uninsured vehicle.
An employee of AES Corp. on Route 1 reported to police at 9:37 p.m. that two gowns, valued at over $700, were stolen from his car while it was parked at work.
Steven Foley, 49, of 13 Parlee St., Salem, was arrested on a temporary warrant at 10:13 p.m. on three charges of rape, one charge of attempting to commit a crime (rape), and one charge of indecent assault and battery.
Douglas Doherty, 51, of 79 Harold Parker Road, Apt. 2, Andover, was arrested at 11:35 p.m. on Bresnahan Street and charged with domestic assault and battery and trespassing.

Davair Rosa, 26, of 2 Tremont St., Apt. 1, Peabody, was arrested at 12:43 a.m. at 221 Andover St. and charged with unlicensed driving.
At 8:05 a.m., police took a report of a breaking and entering at J.A. Cambece Law Office, at 8 Bourbon St., where someone entered through a second floor window, broke into the manager's office and stole $1,200 cash.
A purse and a GPS system were reported stolen from an unlocked SUV parked on Lowell Street.
A Margaret Road resident reported to police at 9:49 a.m. that his house had been egged.
Bill's Auto Sales on Route 1 called police at 10:51 a.m. to report that a 2000 green Ford F350 truck was stolen.
A motorist parked at the Northshore Mall reported at 1:36 p.m. that a $100 stereo and $70 worth of clothing were stolen from the car.

Monday
A branch fell off a tree on Cousins Street around 4:49 a.m., completely blocking the street and hitting three cars. While DPW crews removed the branch, another branch fell and knocked down a cable wire.
Police received a report from an Irving Street resident who said someone used his personal information, which an officer gathered during a traffic stop in Salem on May 15, to commit identity theft.
A Winter Street resident reported to police at 4:27 p.m. that she was a victim of identity theft and someone had attempted to obtain a $222,500 loan in her name from an online home loan network.
Police received a report of an assault with a knife on Lafayette Street and responded to assist at 4:50 p.m.
A Barcelona Avenue resident contacted police at 5:08 p.m. to report fraudulent charges to three of her credit cards.
Police responded to the Red Lion Smoke Shop on Washington Street at 5:13 p.m. for a complaint of a male shoplifter who reportedly stole two to eight T-shirts, valued at $20 to $24 apiece.
A Pope Street woman reported at 5:30 p.m. that for the last week, someone has been vandalizing her vehicle, including damaging the license plate holder and breaking the zip tie that holds her windshield washer sprayer to her windshield wiper.
Police took a report of a breaking and entering at a Liberty Hill Avenue residence that occurred sometime between Sunday and Monday evening.
Police responded to a report of a hypodermic needle on the sidewalk on Lafayette Street at 7:01 p.m.
A motorist reported that he witnessed a hit-and-run accident by Greenway Road around 7:52 p.m. and followed the fleeing vehicle to a May Street residence, where the driver got out and went inside. Police identified the woman, who would not answer the door when an officer knocked. Meanwhile, another police officer interviewed the drivers of the two other cars involved in the hit-and-run. One said the motorist rear ended his car, sending it into the car in front of him. The police plan to summons Stella Karabetsou of 7 May St. to court on charges of unlicensed driving, and leaving the scene of an accident with property damage.
Christian Rodriguez, 23, of 190 Lafayette St., was arrested, following a motor vehicle stop on Linden Street 7:54 p.m. and charged with unlicensed driving and not having an inspection sticker.
Tuesday
Police responded to an alarm at Salem High School, 77 Willson St., at 2:37 a.m. A window had been shattered.
Police received a report of a woman screaming on Washington Street at 6:50 a.m.
Following a report of an assault at Rainbow Terrace, police arrested of Gary D. Rosario, 18, of 465 Essex St., Lynn on three charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, one charge of aggravated assault and battery and one charge of assault with intent to murder.
Austin Dean Lang, 37, of 260 Washington St., Salem, was arrested at 12:55 p.m. at his home on a warrant charging criminal harassment.
Police received a report from the Salem Municipal Golf Course at 2:17 p.m. that a golfer was speeding on the golf carts, driving in prohibited areas, and struck his cart into another cart in which is friends were travelling. Police issued the golfer a no trespass order.
Police took a report of shoplifting from Mud Puddle Toys at 221 Essex St. at 3:02 p.m. A clerk told police items have been missing from the shelves the last few weeks.
Police took a report of statutory rape at 3:14 p.m. on First Street.
Swampscott
Monday
A Walnut Road resident called police at 10:51 p.m. to report that his neighbor's high powered flood lights were illuminating the interior of his home and making it impossible to sleep. A police officer reported that two or three of the lights do indeed shine into the house, and referred the man to the building inspector.
Tuesday
In the span of the less than an hour, starting at 3:37 p.m., police took seven reports of car break-ins on Sherwood Road, Greenwood Avenue and Forest Avenue.
