Amanda Gilbert, 21, of 14 Seaview Road, Ipswich, was arrested at 5:50 p.m. at Highland Street by officers Michael Wetson and Joe Achidinha on multiple drug charges. Arrested in the same incident was Brian Fotiropoulis, 31, of 6B Maple Ave., Ipswich. Both are charged with two counts of possession of a class D substance and conspiracy to violate the drug laws. Fotiropoulis has prior convictions. Gilbert was also charged with possession of a class C substance and four counts of possession of class E substance. Assisting was Danvers K-9 officer Justin Ellenton and his partner Falco. A civilian report of suspicious activity led to the motor vehicle stop that resulted in the arrests, according to police.

A woman on Atlantic Avenue complained to police at 5:30 p.m. that a man was stalking her. “She stated that he came in from China or Thailand,” according to the log. “(She) has attempted to cease contact by blocking his number and that’s when he showed up at the house today.”

When a woman came to the police station to complain to police at 12:39 p.m. that she got a ticket parking overnight on Washington Street, she noted that others parked there and did not get tickets. “She wanted to know why they were special,” according to the log. Police advised her to “call the station next time she saw this.” The woman promptly took out her cellphone and dialed the station. She noted, “(I) guess walking down here isn’t good enough.”

An ambulance was summoned and two off-duty officers, Eric Osattin and Chuck Sinclair, responded after a 2012 Honda Pilot hit a tree and rolled over at Middle and South streets just before midnight. Also responding was the Marblehead Fire Department, officers Neil Comeau, Colin Coleman, Sean Brady and detective Brendan Finnegan.
