Police

(Continued)

Police responded at 12:32 a.m. to a fight at Murphy’s on Derby Street. One man, who had fled the scene, was accused of punching another “for no reason,” according to the log. Police counseled the victim on his right to pursue charges.

Rodger Parker, 32, of 258 Eastern Ave., Lynn, was arrested, as logged at 1:04 a.m., on Derby Street by Patrolman Gilbert Priddy on a charge of being disorderly.

Andrison R. Perez, 18, of 5 Palmer St., Salem, was arrested, as logged at 1:50 a.m., by Patrolmen Rafael Gonzalez and Ryan Arundel on charges of driving without a license and having defective equipment.

A woman on Bridge Street told police at 1:38 p.m. that she’s come home twice to find “things had been moved inside her condo,” according to the log. No forced entry was noted. “After the last incident (she) had all of her locks changed and added dead bolts.”

If you went to a Lafayette Street store on Friday and you were told they don’t take returned bottles unless they were bought in the store and you went out to the back of the store and smashed one of the bottles — they don’t want you back. The clerk did not know the man’s name, a regular customer, but police advised that they be contacted if the customer returns unwanted.

Peter Milanopoulos, 38, of 1 Japonica Ave., Salem, was arrested, as logged at 12:56 p.m. by officers Tracy O’Leary and Kevin O’Donnell on a charge of domestic assault and battery. His girlfriend accused him of pushing her against a stove several times, according to the log.

Maybe the dog found her. Anyway, a woman told police she found a stray dog after it jumped into her vehicle while parked on Prescott Street. She brought the small white pooch to the station where it was reunited with its owner. “The dog got out of the yard,” according to the log.
