Nancy Granert will play a program of organ music by J.S. Bach and others on Sunday, March 16, at 5 p.m. at St. Michael’s Episcopal Church, 26 Pleasant St. in Marblehead, as part of the church’s 300th anniversary celebration. The concert is open to the public, with a suggested donation of $10 benefiting the Recital Series Fund. Granert was formerly associate organist and choirmaster at Harvard University. At “Neptune’s Harvest & Gathering Mushrooms,” a presentation on Wednesday, March 19, at 7 p.m. at Buker Elementary School, 1 School St. in Wenham, Ann Molly of Neptune’s Harvest Organic Fertilizer will discuss her family’s wholesale seafood company in Gloucester. Later, Norman “Dugie” Russell will share the do’s and don’ts of gathering mushrooms. This event, sponsored by the Hamilton Wenham Garden Club, is free and open to the public. “Get to Know the Festival Poets,” a program at the Peabody Institute Library, will discuss the work of poets who will be featured at the Massachusetts Poetry Festival, which will be held in Salem from May 2 to 4. Led by poet and Salem State University Professor Jennifer Jean, the first of six meetings will be held on Tuesday, March 25 at 12:30 p.m. at the Main Library at 82 Main St. in Peabody. The poets discussed will be: March 25, Phil Levine; April 1, Rhina Espaillat; April 8, Carol Ann Duffy; April 15, Li-Young Li; April 22, Susan Rich; and April 29, Cornelius Eady. Food Addicts in Recovery Anonymous is a free, 12-step recovery program for anyone suffering from food obsession, overeating, undereating or bulimia.
