Friday

Police received two calls regarding solicitors at Humphrey Street and Orchard Circle about 5:03 p.m. “One believed to be under the influence, selling roofing service,” wrote police. “No vehicle, no name tags, no registration with town.” An officer subsequently determined the two had actually checked in at the station earlier.

Police responded to 40 Hillside Ave. after a 5:16 p.m. report that two men had been reclining in a parked black sedan with the windows cracked for 20 minutes. Police wrote later: “Vehicle pulled away from curb as officer arrived.”

Saturday

A 37-year-old woman was transported from a Palmer Avenue address to Salem Hospital after a 12:17 p.m. report that she had fainted and “does not feel well.”

Police were unable to locate an elderly woman who was reported to be dressed all in black and walking on Paradise Road “near the flow of traffic” at 6:10 p.m.

Sunday

An alarm brought police to 45 Lincoln Circle at 12:05 a.m. “Made contact with homeowner; they didn’t how alarm tripped,” police wrote later.

Monday

An intoxicated woman in the vicinity of Vinnin Liquors on Paradise Road called 911 about 8 p.m. to ask for a ride home, according to the log. “Incredibly vulgar with operator,” police wrote. “Subject given ride to 67 Eastern Ave., Lynn.”

Peabody

Monday

A passing motorist reported at 3:47 p.m. that she believed a man at Wallis and Elm streets “may have been struck by a motor vehicle.” Police wrote: “She did not see the incident but stated that the male was shaking his cane at a vehicle leaving the area ... it appeared that the male was bleeding from his hand and was covered in mud on half his body.” An officer later determined the 83-year-old man was intoxicated and wrote that he was going to take a taxi home.
