Friends caught up in Boston Marathon blast unite for fundraiser


“It has helped in my healing process to have something that is positive to focus on and to relay their message,” she said.

“They have kind of rallied around us; the community has come together. It’s been an amazing thing,” Mike Chase said. They have sold about 400 tickets so far, and there are more than 100 items to raffle or auction off.

“Every day, we get another call and another email from other people just willing to help,” he said.
