Hamilton Hall will host an appraisal day on Saturday, April 5, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., with appraisals by Stephen Fletcher and his team from Skinner Auctioneers. Each person may bring up to three items to be evaluated. For items that are too large to move, bring a photograph of the item in its entirety, including measurements, and photos of any carvings, marks, stamps or special features. Appraisal slots must be reserved in advance as space is limited. The cost is $20 for one item or $50 for three items. All proceeds benefit Hamilton Hall, 9 Chestnut St., Salem. Artists who live in Beverly, work in Beverly, are enrolled in a Beverly college or a senior in high school, or are affiliated with an arts guild or arts organization in Beverly are eligible to apply to Arts Fest Beverly: Community Exhibition, a juried exhibition on display at the Manninen Center for the Arts, Endicott College, 376 Hale St., Beverly, from June 4 to Aug. 15, with a reception on June 13.
