Police are investigating a report at 2:38 p.m. of resident who said her son stole her identity and opened up multiple credit cards in her name.

A Tremont Street resident reported at 4:24 p.m. that someone had opened up a Verizon Wireless account in his name 20 days ago. It is not known who opened the account or from where it originated.

Police investigated a report of four women fighting at Metro PCS, 75 Main St., at 5:12 p.m. An officer spoke with three of the females and was expecting a call from a fourth.

A resident of the Tannery Two, 12 Crowninshield St., apartments reported at 6:46 p.m. that someone filed her state and federal income taxes. Police documented the discrepancy for the IRS and state Department of Revenue to continue their investigation.

Police took a report at 7:12 p.m. of a runaway 16-year-old child. The juvenile was located by Maine State Police, and this agency made arrangements for the father to pick up the child.

A driver reported at 9:51 p.m. that he was driving on Aborn Street to Pierpont Street heading toward Main Street, and at the corner by a nearby park, a large, black SUV crossed into his lane and struck his motor vehicle in the passenger side, damaging the passenger side door and mirror.

Mark B. Papamechail, 51, of 4 Stevens St., Apt. B, Peabody, walked into the lobby of the police station at 10:02 p.m. and turned himself in on a straight warrant out of Peabody District Court containing two counts of aggravated rape, subsequent offense, and rape, subsequent offense. He was arrested on the warrant.

Thursday

Amanda N. Lothrop, 21, of 39 David Drive, Saugus, was arrested at 1:32 a.m. on Bresnahan Street and charged with drunken driving, a marked lanes violation and with making an improper turn.
