North Shore religion news in brief

The Rt. Rev. Bishop Gayle Harris, suffragan bishop of the Diocese of Massachusetts, will attend the 10 a.m. church service and join the Rev. Mark Templeman at a festive celebration of Holy Eucharist on Sunday, March 30, at the Church of the Holy Name, corner of Monument Avenue and Thomas Road, Swampscott. Christ the Redeemer Anglican Church invites the public to observe the stations of the cross every Friday during Lent, at 188 Elliott St., Danvers. Services will be held each Friday at noon, concluding on Good Friday, April 18. Northshore Unitarian Universalist Church presents its Spring Pops and Auction event, starting at 7 p.m. on Saturday, April 12, at 323 Locust St., Danvers. The event features Danny Titus, a lively and popular musical performer, as well as an auction with donated items from the congregation and community, certificates for restaurants, museums and other local attractions and services. Saint Gregory the Great Church in Beverly Farms is offering two Lenten services, called SpiritMass and SpiritVespers, on alternating Monday evenings in March and April. The next session is Monday from 7:30 to 9 p.m., at Saint Margaret’s Rectory, 672 Hale St., Beverly Farms. SpiritMass is a votive Mass of the Holy Spirit. Spirit Vespers is an ecumenical vesper service led by guest pastors and dedicated to the action of the Holy Spirit in the work of Christian unity. The Lenten services are dedicated to increased devotion to the Holy Spirit with prayer and praise, biblical teaching on the person and work of the Holy Spirit, testimonies, and healing prayer.
