At 6:12 p.m., a caller reported a small silver van turned from First Avenue onto the railroad tracks. The driver of the vehicle, a 54-year-old man, said he was taking photographs for a class. Police told him to move his car off the tracks.
Damien Willette, 29, of 13 Gallant Road, Peabody, was arrested on Lynnfield Street at 8:34 p.m. on a temporary warrant on two charges of domestic assault and battery and one count of threats.
Melvin Perez, 21, of Lynn was arrested at 10:13 p.m. on Lake Street at Scribner Road on charges of driving a motor vehicle without a license and speeding.
