A resident of Hillside Avenue reported a car drove on his lawn and damaged it around 11 p.m. on March 13.
Police arrested two men driving scooters down Lafayette Street at 5:15 p.m. Anthony Gubitosi, 37, of 18 Henry Ave., Lynn, was charged with operating a motor vehicle after a third license suspension, failure to signal and operating an unregistered vehicle. Edgar Rodriguez, 46, who is homeless, was charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.
A man told police he was assaulted at Norman and Crombie streets at 6:30 p.m. after asking three men for a dollar. The alleged attackers also walked off with his backpack containing clothing, the man told police.
James Irving, 43, 112 Federal St., Lynn, was arrested at 8:08 a.m. on Bridge Street on a charge of driving with a suspended license.
Martin Capici, 39, of 2 Brier Road, Windham, N.H., will be summonsed to court on a charge of malicious damage to property following a 6:50 a.m. altercation between two men on the train platform on Park Street.
An unwanted patron was taken into protective custody at 7:23 p.m. at Chili’s Grill & Bar, 10 Newbury St.
Warrants were served on Salem and Lynn men at Motel 6, 65 Newbury St.
Avery Barry, 42, of 45 Granite St., Gloucester, was arrested on charges of driving with a suspended license, a rejected inspector sticker, a suspended or revoked registration and failure to wear a seat belt. He was stopped at 3:24 p.m. on Water Street.
Police and firefighters went to Spofford Pond Elementary School at 10:45 a.m. to join teachers and staff in a search in woods behind the school for a young boy who had left the building without approval. The boy was found uninjured shortly before noon and returned to his mother who had been called to the school.
