A Federal Street resident reported at 11 p.m. that someone stole her battery-operated wheelchair from the back of her home.

Police went to a Marlborough Road home at 11:12 p.m. and talked to a woman who said she felt uncomfortable about a couple she and her husband met on Craigslist and invited to their home. Police told the Craigslist couple it was time to leave. On Sunday, the resident called back to say her iPhone and Kindle were missing.


Police went to an apartment on Highland Avenue at 12:19 a.m. on a report of a man yelling and screaming. A resident told police he was only lifting weights.

After responding to a report of a disturbance on Washington Street, police arrested Abner Trinidad, 21, of 8 Lowe St., Peabody, on an outstanding warrant and Jeffrey Rocker, 25, of 16 Warren St., Peabody, on charges of violating the city knife ordinance and disorderly conduct.

Police went to the IHOP on Trader’s Way at 10:34 a.m. on a report of two people running out on their bill. A man said he paid the tip but forgot to pay the bill.



A Fieldbrook Road resident told police at 5:05 p.m. that her husband’s truck was hit by a Lowe’s delivery truck while parked in their driveway.


A Lincoln Avenue resident called at 12:01 a.m. to report a confrontation with a neighbor over a dog going to the bathroom on his lawn. The dispute was resolved, police said.

A man came into the police station at 9:14 a.m. to “turn himself in.” He told police he had run a red light because he was in a hurry to go to the bathroom.

A Puritan Road resident told police she received a letter and check from someone she didn’t know in South Africa. They told her that it was a scam and not to cash it.
