Daniel Cook, 24, of Malden was arrested at 12:59 a.m. on a charge of disorderly conduct after yelling at police trying to disperse a crowd outside Murphy’s, a Derby Street bar. “You can’t (expletive) do this,” Cook allegedly shouted at officers as they asked the loud group to move along.
A woman called police at 10:48 a.m. to report that someone had taken her laundry from her Lafayette Street apartment building’s common laundry area sometime between 1:30 a.m. and 2 a.m. Later in the day, at 2:35 p.m., a second resident reported that some of her laundry items, including jeans and a shirt, were also missing. They suspect another tenant in the building.
Jesus Salvador, 18, of Lynn and a juvenile were arrested at 5:02 p.m. on charges of shoplifting at Wal-Mart on Highland Avenue.
Two men were arrested after police received a report of suspicious men in a dark-colored Ford Crown Victoria on Dearborn Street at 5:20 p.m. James Dwyane Pierce, 36, and Kenneth Michael Hyland, 55, both of Everett, were both charged with illegal possession of chemical mace and violation of the knife ordinance.
James Caisse, 22, of 191 Federal St., Salem, was arrested at 6:35 p.m. on a charge of malicious destruction of property, following a report of a suspicious person on Broad Street.
A 2007 gray Jeep Cherokee was reported stolen from Clifton Avenue at 5:48 a.m.
Wyatt Paige, 34, of 293 Lafayette St., Salem, was arrested at 8:21 a.m. on charges of assault with a dangerous weapon (a rifle) and threats to kill after his sister reported that as she walked her dog in the area near his home, he warned her not to come near him or he would “blow her head off,” according to the police log.
Frederick Michael Martinez, 25, of 45 Roundy St., Beverly, was arrested on charges of possessing cocaine with intent to distribute and possession of a class C controlled substance at 4:47 p.m. on Roundy Street following the execution of a search warrant.
