Police helped a man on Farrell Court after he reported at 9:48 a.m. that his “car keys fell between the seats and he needs assistance retrieving them.”

A Pleasant Street woman reported at 12:12 p.m. that her neighbor had thrown trash in front of her house and had assaulted her with a cardboard box. Police later determined it was a verbal dispute with “no assault of any type.”

Police received a 4:05 p.m. report that a “strange” man in a bright orange jacket was walking a little dog in people’s yards on Willow Road. An officer was unable to locate him.

Thursday

A Glendale Road woman reported at 6:30 a.m. that the back window of her vehicle had been smashed overnight, but nothing had been stolen.

Wednesday

A man reported that his daughter had been chased by a black Labrador in the Central Street area, according to a 4:09 p.m. log item. She was not injured, and police were unable to locate the animal.

Police and the Fire Department responded to a 4:44 p.m. report of a brush fire on Troy Street.

A woman stole $1,000 in items from Sephora at the Northshore Mall, according to a 5 p.m. report.

Police and the Fire Department responded to a 5:15 p.m. report that there were four tires on fire in the roadway on Winter Street, but nothing suspicious was found upon their arrival.

Items worth $600 were stolen from Victoria’s Secret at the Northshore Mall, according to a 5:19 p.m. report.

A man reported that he had dropped his prescription for Klonopin down a sewer in front of Walgreens at 35 Main St. at 5:53 p.m.

Police received a 9:42 p.m. report that a Putnam Street woman “is hearing noises outside of her house and feels that someone is outside.” Police checked the area but found nothing suspicious.
