Police received a 4:59 p.m. report that a man had approached a woman’s vehicle during an argument over a parking spot near 85 Lynnfield St. and struck her window, then fled the area. An officer was unable to locate him.
A black Mustang struck a house’s front railing, fence and stairs during an accident at 15 Bowditch St., according to a 7:23 p.m. log item. An officer said there were no injuries and the damage to the building was minimal.
A man stole $100 in merchandise from Walgreens at 35 Main St., according to an 8:05 p.m. report.
Police responded to an 8:52 p.m. report that a beige Subaru had been seen driving around Joe’s American Bar & Grill at the Northshore Mall and the man inside “may have exposed himself.” Police checked the area but were unable to locate anything suspicious.
A teenager was throwing his bike in front of traffic — “attempting to get their attention” — on Pulaski Street, according to a 9:40 p.m. report. An officer was unable to locate the youth.
A 63-year-old Central Street man was transported to Salem Hospital after he dialed 911 at 5:18 a.m. to report that his “apartment was a mess.”
An extension cord and scrap wire were taken during a garage break-in on Donegal Road, according to a 7:47 a.m. report.
Police received an 8:02 a.m. report from a caller who “believes she saw a dog bite a jogger” near Russell Street and Hopkins Road.
A woman reported at 8:54 a.m. that a silver Mercedes had sped through a bus stop on Leonard Drive and that the operator was yelling at the people there to “not look at him.” Another person inside the vehicle said something about “getting his dope back,” according to the log.
The Fire Department responded to a 5:30 p.m. report of an oven fire at 36 Nickerson Road. According to radio reports, the fire started when a resident turned the oven on with a box inside. There was no damage to the residence.
