Steven P. Levesque, 53, homeless, was arrested on a charge of trespassing at 10 Congress St. at 8:16 p.m. Police were called to South Harbor Parking Garage on a report of a drunken man sleeping in a stairwell.
Police were called to to 243 Jefferson Ave. for a car break-in at 1:04 a.m. The car was found with its window smashed by a brick, and a $400 purse with a $100 gold bracelet inside was reported stolen. A second purse from a passenger was also taken, according to the log.
Bryan P. O’Donnell, 25, of 10 Intervale Ave. Peabody, was arrested on charges of drunken driving and failing to stop at a red light or stop sign, according to a 1:23 a.m. report.
Bethany J. Turner, 30, of 1 Harbor St., Salem, was arrested on a charge of domestic assault and battery at her home at 10 a.m. The report indicates that she punched her fiance during an argument around 4 a.m., according to the log.
Webster G. Smith, 59, of 116 Bridge St., Salem, was arrested on a warrant for larceny over $250, according to 5:52 p.m. report.
A report of “possible gunshots” in the area of 71-73 Orchard St. was called in to police at 7:47 p.m. A resident told police that he was shooting off bottle rockets, but none was shot in the presence of police. A total of 48 bottle rockets were confiscated and brought to the police station for destruction, according to the log.
Teodoro Villanueva, 40, of 99 Canal St., Salem, was arrested on charges of domestic assault, disturbing the peace and trespassing at 8:10 p.m.
Steven G. Nassor, 52, of 33 Upham St., Salem, was arrested on charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of narcotics (marijuana) and two counts of marked lanes violations after being pulled over on Broad Street, according to a 10:42 p.m. police log.
