Police responded to 22 Bridge St. after an 8:04 p.m. report of a domestic dispute and determined two people were arguing over “a note from one of the children’s teachers.”
Police responded to Bridge and Boston streets after a 12:09 a.m. report that a vehicle had struck a telephone pole. Kruti V. Kansara, 22, of 16 Roosevelt Ave., Peabody, was arrested on charges of drunken driving and operating negligently to endanger. No injuries were reported.
Tires had been slashed on three vehicles parked at 35 Palmer St., according to a 12:21 p.m. log item.
A 2:41 p.m. report of shoplifting at the Market Basket on Highland Avenue led to the arrest of Carolina Isabel Lopez, 30, of 127 Essex St., Lynn, on charges of shoplifting over $100 and giving a false name to a police officer.
Police received a 3:06 p.m. report that a motorist had spit in another motorist’s face during an altercation on Essex Street. Police later spoke to the suspect; he admitted having done so. The victim was satisfied with the officer “advising him of his improper actions” and did not press the issue further, according to the log.
A woman reported at 3:23 p.m. that the driver of a vehicle she had possibly cut off in traffic on Washington Street had gotten out of her vehicle and slapped her in the face. The woman described the driver as in her mid-20s and “missing many teeth,” wrote police.
A 3:37 p.m. report of a domestic dispute brought police to 33 Pickman Road, where they determined a father and son were arguing over “estate issues.”
Police received a 10:59 a.m. report of a domestic dispute on Andover Street. Richard Provencher, 45, of 29 Prince St., Danvers, was arrested on a charge of domestic assault and battery.
A 3:18 p.m. report of threats brought police to the Dunkin’ Donuts at 36 Maple St. Christopher Thomas, 26, of 56 River St., Beverly, was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct.
