A 28-year-old woman was transported to an undisclosed hospital after she possibly overdosed on heroin at a Pleasant Street address, according to a 12:57 p.m. log item. “Male party states he found his friend on the floor,” wrote police. “He stated that his friend was just released from a halfway house and she was staying with him.”
A man reported at 8:49 a.m. that a male had yelled “die, die” from a yellow Subaru as he drove by on Ocean Avenue. Police received a second report of the male from a woman who said he “was swearing at her as she was walking her dog” in the area of Washington Street. Police wrote: “He circled around and continued to swear at her. She said he is ‘off his rocker.’”
A Clifton Heights Lane woman reported at 11:38 a.m. that her neighbor was harassing her. She said the “explosive situation” was related to an ongoing issue about excessive noise that had been going on for the past 10 years.
A caller reported at 2:51 p.m. that he or she had seen “a bunch of syringes in a puddle” at the end of a driveway on Humphrey Street while waiting in traffic.
A Driscoll Street woman reported at 10:18 a.m. that she’d received a phone call “from a scammer trying to get her to go somewhere and give him money.” An officer wrote that she had done “the right thing by not providing the caller with any information.”
An Evans Road man reported at 1:53 p.m. that he was upset his neighbor hadn’t yet brought trash barrels inside. “He was told he could pick the barrels up and leave them on the side of the road if he was so inclined,” an officer wrote later.
