Thursday

An officer was unable to locate a man who was reported to be carrying somebody over his shoulder at Cabot and Bennett streets at 1:33 a.m.

Police investigated a report of a grass fire at Folger and Tanzella avenues, with the Beverly Fire Department responding at 5:59 p.m.

Gunshots were reportedly heard in the area of Preston Place at 6:08 p.m.

Police investigated a car versus motorcycle accident with personal injury at Rantoul and Pond streets at 8:50 p.m. Police said a Beverly woman pulled out of a space just as a motorcycle ridden by a Boxford man came around corner. Police said the woman clipped the corner of the motorcycle. No serious injuries were reported.

Friday

Police investigated a loud house party on Rantoul Street at 1:35 a.m.

Police took a report of a stolen car from Cabot Street at 6:50 a.m.

A dog was reportedly hit by a car on Colon Street and Fielder Road at 7:37 a.m.

Police took a report of a past larceny on Kelleher Road at 11:25 a.m.

A hypodermic needle was found in the parking lot of 150 Cabot St. at 12:25 p.m.

Items were reportedly stolen from boxes at a residence on Kernwood Avenue.

After a motor vehicle stop on Dane and Essex streets at 6:23 p.m., Thomas E. Parsons, 56, of 12 Gibbs Hill Drive, Gloucester, was arrested and charged with possession of a Class B drug, oxycodone, and a crosswalk violation.

Danvers

Thursday

Police received a 9:17 a.m. report of an abuse prevention order violation. Roy Robert, 47, of 103 Newbury St., Danvers, was arrested on a charge of violating an abuse prevention order.

Police responded to a report of difficult road conditions as they responded to retrieve a pizza delivery bag in the road in the vicinity of Kappy’s Liquors at 158 Andover St. (Route 114) at 9:59 p.m.
