An 11:33 p.m. report of a single-vehicle crash brought police to Washington and New Derby streets. Charles McCarthy, 32, of 11 Bayberry Lane, Beverly, was arrested on a charge of drunken driving. No injuries were reported.

Police responded to 1 Courageous Court after an 11:37 p.m. report that a vehicle was driving on a lawn and arrested Brianna Marie Caron, 20, of 10 Abington Ave., Peabody, on charges of drunken driving and operating a motor vehicle recklessly to endanger.


At 12:14 a.m., police responded to 13 Garden Terrace after a report that a woman was screaming. They determined a domestic assault had occurred and the suspect had fled the scene. Later arrested in Lynn was Justin Reynoso, 25, of 48 New Park St., Lynn, on charges of attempted murder and domestic assault and battery. He was also wanted on a warrant. The attempted murder charge stems from Reynoso allegedly having strangled the victim.

A 12:55 a.m. report that somebody had knocked over a mailbox brought police to Lynde and Sewall streets. “Upon arrival there was no one to be found in the general area,” an officer wrote. “The postal drop box was righted at this time.”

Police responded to 190 Bridge St. after a 1:07 a.m. report of a domestic dispute and awoke a husband and wife who “showed no signs of any dispute.”

Police happened upon a fight at 91 Lafayette St. about 1:30 a.m. and arrested Kendall Bridges, 24, homeless, on a charge of disorderly conduct; Joseph C. Lima, 25, of 2 General Patton Drive, Hyannis, on a charge of violating the city’s knife ordinance; Corey R. Marston, 23, of 95 Green St., Lynn, on a charge of disorderly conduct; and Timothy D. Miller, Jr., 23, of 9 General Patton Drive, Hyannis, on charges of assault by dangerous weapon and violating the city’s knife ordinance.
